During May, Hot Foods Eligible for Purchase with SNAP Benefits

In Tuscaloosa county until May 31, EBT/SNAP Benefits (formerly known as Food Stamps) can be used to purchase hot foods at all locations that are approved to accept EBT. The USDA has authorized this temporary change in affected counties, including Tuscaloosa County, in reaction to the recent tornadoes. These purchases are not subject to sales tax.

Homegrown Alabama will continue with its EBT matching program, adding $5 in tokens for every $10 spent with EBT.
